Salve is a greeting in Latin that means "peace" or "greetings". We want the presence of each book we publish to be like an opening greeting to a deeper conversation about the nature of life, creation, and the Creator.
Light is Life. This Latin phrase is the soul of our every step. Salve Publishing (CV Scientia Lumen Vitae Est) was founded on February 11 2025 in Palembang with a clear mission: to be a lamp that illuminates the minds and souls of Indonesian people through quality books.

Our vision is to become a leading publisher that enlightens the minds and souls of the Indonesian people through high-quality Catholic and scientific literacy treasures. In line with the name Scientia Lumen Vitae Est (Knowledge is the Light of Life), we are committed to being a source of enlightenment that fills strategic gaps in the world of Indonesian literacy.
Mission
Our mission is realized by presenting selected quality books from the world's leading thinkers through a translation and editing process with integrity. We specifically focus on publishing rare Catholic Religion and Science books, with the aim of encouraging harmonious dialogue between faith and reason, as well as contributing to the development of national character from Palembang for all of Indonesia.
